Sr. Paid Search Manager


The Sr. Paid Search Manager will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing and analyzing search engine marketing (SEM) activities – paid search/pay-per-click (PPC) that will drive growth for clients of Evolve Digital Labs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about search engine marketing and paid search and can contribute an expert point of view to both exclusively digital projects and large-scale Omni-channel projects and campaigns.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

4+ years experience managing paid, natural search and display advertising programs for well-established brands.  Should hold some combination of the following certifications: Google AdWords, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel and data-driven thinking related to campaign optimization.  Ability to prepare spreadsheets for bulk upload of new Campaigns, Ad Groups, and ads through AdWords Editor.
  • Working knowledge of marketing fundamentals and understanding of campaign metrics, ROI, and analytics
  • Strong knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).  Working knowledge of ad targeting tactics and tools.  Extensive experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
  • Experience managing the day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines (Google, Bing/Yahoo) including the campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review and optimization of paid search campaigns. Experience with paid search is a must, additional experience with PPC management on the Google Display Network is a plus.
  • Responsibilities include keyword research (discovery and expansion), review and editing of ad creative/copy, review and analysis of website performance metrics, and optimization of campaigns
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
  • Strong proactive communicator, both written and oral, who has been instrumental in leading successful new online marketing initiatives
  • Ability to consume analytics information and distil actionable insights that lead to performance improvements.  Proficiency with Google Analytics is a must; experience with other digital analytics tools, a plus
  • High-level proficiency in Excel and standard-proficiency in Word, or similar productivity software
  • BS/BA and/or Marketing, Communications (advertising/marketing focused), Business, Math, or Finance degree preferred
